Fall on the Farm

One of our very favorite fall activities is 'Fall on the Farm' at Watkins Woolen Mill. This year we camped at Watkins for the weekend and then went over to the farm on Saturday for the fun! The activities included stilts, gunny sack races, rag doll making (the girls' favorite!), cider making, and flower pounding. We camped with some friends of ours, the Browns and Joel Brock. The kids were busy the whole time picking up nuts(which we could never quite identify), cracking them, and roasting them over the fire. It was beautiful weather and we loved being outdoors. I tried a few new recipes in my dutch oven which I may post if I can figure out where to do it. By the way, the pop up camper in the background is not ours! We are still tenting.

Stephen,
I typed a long message to you and the family...but Google made the sign up process so complex that, in the process, we lost the rather lengthy posting that your grandmother and I had already made. Summarized...your family pictgues were wonderful, expecially when we clicked and saw each one fill up the monitor!
Thee is some family good news that I intend to verbally share with you rather than trying to retype tghe whole message that the Google process erased. Much Love, Dad/Harold/Baboo Hoosie

Dear Family,
A test for you:
Can you find any typos in the earlier message I just sent?
